At Aurizon, we consider ourselves part of the local communities where we live and work. While we
are working on repairing the impact of Cyclone Debbie to our operations in Queensland, we also
want to play our part in helping local communities recover and rebuild following this devastating
We would like to assist Queensland community groups and charities rebuild after Cyclone Debbie
by establishing a special round of our Aurizon Community Giving Fund to distribute cash grants to
help with recovery projects.
If you are a charity or community group with DGR status in North QLD, Central QLD or South East
QLD who has been affected by the recent weather event, you could be eligible for a grant from
$1,000 to $20,000 for a relief or rebuilding related project.
We have made the application process as simple as possible, so it should only take you around 45
minutes to complete. It can be saved at any time and finished later.
We encourage you to review the
Aurizon Community Appeal Terms and Conditions, Criteria and Guidelines
along with the Giving Fund’s Frequently Asked Questions
and Tips for Writing Grant Applications
